JT-RAD01-M4011SW Handheld Geiger Counter

We present our Improved Version “Made in Italy” of the Cheap Geiger Counter “JT-RAD01”.

Compared to the original model, it is produced customized on request to increase sensitivity and reliability.

• Added typical Geiger Counter Ticker function.
  The original version of this radioactivity detector did not include the so-called “Ticker” sonorous. We added it instead, therefore our improved version of the JT-RAD001 in addition to flashing the already present red LED, it can also emit ticks or beeps in real time with a frequency proportional to the radioactive activity actually detected.
• New windowed back cover to increase sensitivity.
  We have also replaced the original back cover with a new one specially designed to improve the sensitivity of the instrument, that we make ourselves with our 3D printers. This new cover unlike the original one, It has a special rectangular opening on the left side that exposes the Geiger Muller tube of the instrument, directly outwards, significantly improving its sensitivity, especially in the detection of Beta radiation. • Calibration of the high voltage that powers the Geiger tube.
  We also adjusted the high voltage that powers the Geiger tube itself, thus certifying it to the correct nominal value of approximately 400V, as prescribed in the specifications of the M4011 Geiger Tube itself which can now detect penetrating Gamma radiation as well, even less energetic Beta radiation.

The new features of the GC Geiger Counter-01 improved:

• Sensitivity on the detection of less energetic Beta radiation is increased by approximately 10 times compared to the characteristics of the original samples verified by us.
  Our customized version of the Geiger JT-RAD01-M4011SW, as well as having increased sensitivity and precision during measurements, it also uses a new firmware that expresses more rational graphics and several advanced additional options. Again thanks to the new firmware it now also has the “Ticker”, that is, a sound generator that emits a “click” corresponding to each radioactive particle detected by the Geiger tube.
• Display of the measurement confidence index
  this value indicates on the same display the reliability of the values ​​read in relation to the current context of the measurement on the real-time display
• Graphic trend of radioactivity .
  In practice, the instrument traces the histogram of the values ​​acquired in real time in real time
• Measurement of Cumulative DOSE.
  The instrument automatically calculates the overall dose of radioactivity to which you are exposed in a certain period of time.
• Instantaneous level display, and radiation medium.
  E’ It is also possible to switch the display of the average and instantaneous radioactivity value from the settings menu.
• Tick ​​/ Beep Sound for each particle detected.
  Now the JT-RAD001 can also generate a “click or beep for each radioactive particle detected.
• Audible alarm for exceeding instantaneous and/or accumulated dose.
  This is an acoustic alarm that can be set if a dose and/or instantaneous radioactivity values ​​are acquired that exceed a predetermined threshold value that can be set by the user.
