Description

Geiger Counter with Dosimeter, Sensitive, Reliable and Precise.

E’ a modern multifunctional radioactivity meter as it also performs the function of a dosimeter and uses the very sensitive Pancake probe, housed externally to the instrument itself, in a practical external cover with handle. This special Geiger probe, in addition to being very sensitive and precise, can detect all types of ionized radiation, i.e. the α, b, c, and X-rays.

The so-called Pancake differs significantly from normal economy-class Geiger tubes by its thin and large active surface which is made of a mica membrane of 45 mm in diameter. Therefore it is also perfectly permeable to Alpha radiation, which due to their corpuscular nature cannot fit into common Geiger Muller tubes with borosilicate and metal casing.

Geiger counter made in Italy with professional performance which costs significantly less than similar competitive products.

E’ fruit of Italian ingenuity and creativity, its excellent characteristics have been certified several times in various measurement tests carried out at an important certified national calibration centre “ACCREDIA”. The results of these checks (paper in hand), attest without any uncertainty to its excellent performance, so we have no hesitations in calling it one of the best commercial Geiger counters. intended for both the professional and the most demanding enthusiast.

Main features:

It boasts the best price / performance ratio and is built, sold and serviced in Italy by the same national manufacturer.

Guardian Ray Plus Exp, has implemented in its CPU various software functions useful for the advanced processing of the data acquired on radioactivity. among these we mention the so-called long-term measurement mode called: “Scaler” which provides an acquisition time of 600 seconds, significantly increasing the sensitivity and acquisition precision of the instrument.

Regarding the hardware it has: an internal clock unit with calendar, a large membrane keyboard, the rechargeable lithium battery, a 2 x 16 character backlit alphanumeric LCD display, and a dual-function buzzer, which emits a “beep” for each detected particle and can also sound constantly if a certain presettable radiation threshold is exceeded.

There is also a native USB interface for downloading data to the PC and charging the lithium-ion battery, and finally a large integrated Datalogger, which thanks to its large 1 Megabit non-volatile memory, allows the memorization of radioactivity measurements even for several months.

Who can benefit from our professional Geiger Counter?

Our ionizing radiation meter is useful to the qualified radiation protection expert, in the protection of citizens' health by public administrations such as municipalities, the local health authorities and by the police to conduct health investigations directly in the area.

We think it could also be useful for research and analysis laboratories, companies that import and process products from countries that have been seriously involved in nuclear accidents in the past.

In general, we recommend purchasing it to those who need to have a reliable instrument for measuring radioactivity.

So who will find themselves using our tool, will easily be able to know the levels of ionizing radiation present in the environment, in the ground, in building materials, on some foodstuffs and in general on any product or personal object.
